The Seven Little Foys
Film biography of Eddie Foy, a legendary vaudeville performer who would later incorporate his seven children into his act. At the start of the movie, Foy is an avowed bachelor. But he quickly changes his mind about marriage when he falls for Italian ballerina Madeleine Morando. The two marry, and she joins his act. Madeleine, however, must soon retire so that she can raise their seven children. Sadly, she dies while they are still young, and Eddie is forced to raise the kids by himself -- often with disastrous results. Eventually, the entertainer is persuaded to have his brood join him on the road; and a popular new vaudeville act is born.
