    [Highly rated reviewer]

i remember watching this years ago, and being quite 'spooked'.

it is a clever, well made film, with a quality cast (well casted, as well), and well worth watching.

p.s. "demi moore in good acting shock horror"

an oddly moving film. not quite the eschatological end of days film that we are quite used to. no demons or bad cgi; rather a touching film about the redemption of mankind. this is not the poor man's omen. and i can understand why it has been so overlooked yet the very things that make underwhelming as apocalypse-porn are the same things that make it touching and believable. yes, demi moore is a bad actress - but so would any character be in the same situation. her very naivete goes beyond mere acting to reach a level of verisimilitude that most films in the same genre do not reach. perhaps i am just a sentimental old catholic but there were times when i welled up watching this. we live in a time without hope - a time of cynicism - and we are used to watching films about cardinals swishing about the vatican in sinister conclave plotting to hide things from mankind. yet this is not one of those cheap films. it is not scary, it is not creepy. it won't answer the needs of conspiracy theorists or anti-catholic propagandists. rather it is an intelligent (albeit traditional) look at what (western) mankind's hopes and fears are as we progress through time and how we can avoid armageddon.

Bearing in mind the premise of this film and that it pre-dates CGI then it makes not a bad ''fist of it'. Couple of cheesy moments towards the end but, hey, that's Hollywood for you.

Demi Moore dies to save humanity. This is what is known as a win-win situation. The film itself is the worst type of utter drivel.

Sitting back and Enjoying 'The Seventh Sign' Is amazing. I love a good mystery and horror. Demi Moore is at one of her best to say the least. Though I have watched this film a few times it still keeps me glued the the screen. Not a lot of films can do that even after the first time of watching. Most enjoyable to say the least
