By movieman2 from Selkirkshire , 31 Aug 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
What can you say about Ray Harryhausen's masterpiece of 3 Dimensional Animation in a process he coined - Dynamation. This is a film which will please young and old. Full of Magical Special effects & starring Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant (who was Bing Crosby's wife) & a great portrayal by Torin Thather of the Magician.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Movie !!!
By a customer from GLASGOW , 19 Jul 2005Sinbad must obtain the egg of a roc, a fierce, giant bird, in order to return the beautiful Princess Parisa to her normal size after she is miniaturized by the villanous magician Sokurah. Along the way Sinbad, Parisa, and their magical genie encounter a calvacade of mythological creatures, including a man-eating cyclops, a two headed roc, a fire breathing dragon, and an army of reanimated skeletons--all lovingly brought to life through the magic of the spectacular special effects of Ray Harryhausen.- Was this review helpful to you?

Faced paced romp
By a customer from Birmingham, UK , 11 Jan 2005I rented this film as I am interested in the stop-go animation effects employed by Harryhausen (which are first class) and the film itself moves with pace and excitement enough to keep film buffs of any genre happy. I particularly liked some of the extras on the disk, the Chronicles I had already seen but there were also interesting short pieces about Harryhausen and the making of this film and also on Jason and the Argenots.- Was this review helpful to you?
