    Disney at it's best

This is a fantastic disney movie. Great fun although predictable, but that's what makes it good, you know what you are getting before you go to the cinema.

If you liked Herbie, toy story or Shrek you will enjoy this one.

    Great for the family

My kids thought it was a good film and my wife managed to stay awake all the way through it. A little predictable and not as good or clever as other disney or pixar family films. I do like Tim ALLEN in his previous films, but I cant help think that he was not suited to the role, as his wife could probably pass as his daughter. It would have also suited a more zany comedy actor, Chris Rock - Jim Carrey -Eddie Murphy, Tom Hanks - Judge Reinsomething? of Beveley Hills Cop/vice versa. It just seemed to lack something that makes a good film great and something I would buy to play over and over again.

    GREAT FAMILY FILM.

KIDS REALLY ENJOYED THIS FILM. THINK BECAUSE THEY KNEW TIM ALLEN FROM SANTA CLAUSE FILMS THEY WERE EXPECTING A GOOD FILM. I THOUGHT IT WAS QUITE FUNNY IN THE BEGINNING BUT JUST SEEMED TO DRAG FOR THE LAST 40 MINS. AFTER BEING BITTEN BY A SHEEPDOG THAT HAS THE REVERSE AGEING PROCESS TIM ALLEN CHANGES INTO A DOG WITH SOME VERY FUNNY RESULTS, SOON REALISING THAT HIS JOB HAS COME BETWEEN HIM AND HIS FAMILY.

    Life changing

I'm a film student and was asked to document the shaggy dog and what it symbolises in our society. Through Shaggy's struggle with animal discrimination, he finds solace in knowing that many humans do approve of his approach to becoming a man-like entity in the canine world, and eventually manages to get a job as a stock broker. Good credits.

    For kids only!

Hoping to find a good family film, I tried this. How wrong I was, this film is only good for kids as I found this unfunny and irritating to watch. Unless you rent this for kids, avoid at all costs, as I hated it.

    A great family film

What a great film. My children and I didn't stop laughing throughout the whole thing. It was involved enough to keep me entertained as well as being simple enough for them to understand what was going on.

    Great Family Fun

We all loved this film, parents and kids alike. Tim Allen plays the part well, catching a dogs characteristics brilliantly, very funny in places. Good fun for all the family recommended for a cold wet day coseyed up with the kids
