In 'Wisteria Lodge' strange things have been occurring at Wisteria Lodge as Scott Eccles informs Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett) on a visit to Baker Street. But when the famous detective and his companion Dr Watson (Edward Hardwicke) arrive at the house they find Inspector Baynes already there investigating the murder of the owner. In 'The Bruce Partington Plans' a case comes to light following the discovery of a young clerk's body in a London Underground tunnel. Mycroft Holmes enlists his brother's help in the hunt to find the plans for a top secret submarine which have gone missing and which threaten to cause an international crisis.
