Courteney Cox acted as executive producer and also stars alongside her real-life husband David Arquette in this misguided goofball comedy. Although Arquette's irrepressible eccentricity has a certain wacky charm, Cox manages to be plain annoying as an anxiety-ridden travel writer masquerading as a psychiatrist to win over her dream man. Every scene she's in is overplayed, her every movement exaggerated, while the once promising director Richard Benjamin (Mermaids) confuses slapstick with sheer stupidity at every turn.

Not Bad
I know the people that produced this film on a professional and personal level.
Other films they did are 'Kissing A Fool', 'Do Me A Favor' and lately Andrew Form has produced 'Texas Chainsaw' and 'Amyvitiville Horror'.
The story moves along steadily, with some typical slapstick humour and a love tale all in there. But as someone else mentioned, if you're a fan of hubby and wife team Courtney and David Arquette then this appeals to you more than the average romantic comedy fan. Watchable. -

Very good ejecting chair gag saves the film.
Tragically doesn't break aforementioned actresses neck in process... -
