Kept me on the edge of my seatBy David Myler from Wirral, England , 21 Mar 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Found this film to be great. had a good story line and great effect's. Made me think of both side's of the argument with the current Islamic threats we live with today after 9/11. Felt true to life and didn't as a lot of films from the good old usa do, portray the american's as some knight in shining armour going to save the world. It made me think when America is threatend all these things they preach about freedom and human rights are irrelevant. Guantanamo hit's NYC. Was a good all round film definatley worth watching if you are a fan of terroirst movies. (Was a bit gutted though that while I had this at home it was screened on ITV2)

Bruce and Denzel never disappointBy a customer , 05 Aug 2013Bruce and Denzel never disappoint, 5 star standard as usual, this film has a great story and what you think will be the endings turns out to be another climax,
Bit averageBy gianino (648 reviews) from London , 14 Apr 2013Good acting and so weird that he came out before 9/11! However, it's a bit flat and boring at times. Not much happening and the same ols story anyway but watchable...just!!!
Good in parts watchableBy The KnightWatcher (629 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 29 Mar 2013Bruce Willis, Anette Bening-somewhat visionary plot about Muslem terrorism in New York but improbable all the same. Made pre twin towers 9-11 (1998). Good in parts, bit confusing and not credible.
The SeigeBy a customer , 18 Jan 2013I like Denzil Washington no matter how old the movie is 'usually' but some how this movie hasn't traveled into 2013 very well. It looked dated and maybe the story line was new then but watching it now it's been done many times. Was that hair on Bruce's head?.
Great Cast ... Great movie!By a customer , 29 Aug 2012Washington, Bening and Willis all in the same pot is bound to produce a good movie, and that is exactly what Edward Zwick achieved.
The Seige is a story about terrorist and anti terrorist activities which some times comes very, very close to the truth and leaves the viewer feeling uncomfortable. But having said this, that is what good film making is all about.
Denzel Washington once again turned in a great performance in this gripping thriller as did Annette Bening. I was a little disappointed with the length of rope Bruce Willis was given with regard to his role, but again he played out his part well.
Would I recommend this movie ... you bet!
