An important document to watch. Makes perfect sense and our generation can make massive changes to the future. Watch, have a think, represent a healthier acting future. Globally i'm all for it and although it doesn't say exactly what each person can do to help I think we can all think of some way we can help, even small personal changes like recycling can probably help, buying sustainable wood, buying recycled paper or products or spreading the word around for positive environmental support and extinction awareness. We can do it! I'm ordering my new recycling box right now! Plus it's given me more momentum to go vegetarian. I feel guilty riding a motorbike though due to pollution:(. Good luck on your own mission and God Bless!

  • Poor! Theories are meant to be challenged, including manmade climate change!

Gross misconceptions of scientific data. Blaming human activity alone for climate change is laughable! Especially as manmade C02 in the Earth's atmosphere is negligible; cows have more of an affect on the atmosphere than we do. The relationship between C02 and climate temperature is prevalent and well established. However rather than C02 being the driving effector it is more likely to be the effect of temperature increase. One explanation for that would be as temperature increases so does evaporation of the oceans' water; which in turn increases the levels of C02 in the atmosphere. Seeming that the Earth's oceans' are the largest stores of C02 that would explain the sharp rise in the atmospheric levels. In addition core ice samples have shown that C02 fluxations correlate with temperature fluxations, but with an approx 500 year gap, with temperature leading the trend; NOT VISA VERSA!

I liked this well balanced view, I disagree in the conclusions or at least part of the conclusions. These guys say WE need to change, I would qualify that by saying it is big business and governments which need to change - we can influence them of course. The free market economy is to blame, I fear when it was proposed the guys involved did consider the world wide impact - encouraging free markets means encouraging businesses to search out the cheapest sources of raw materials, including labour and exploiting it. We should demand that the goods we buy are from sustainable sources and pay the price - if we do business will have to change to survive if we don't we're doomed. This programmes helps everyone understand why this is true - example 1 the Amazon massive deforestation not due to a demand for wood but space to farm cheap beef, example 2 everything is being made in China, cheap minerals, cheap labour - no environmental plans for protection, no labour rights (check out the new rare earth issues/abuse) 3 India, most of what you wear is made in India or the Philippines because of labour abuse and cheap materials. We need to stop these companies - and pay the price for higher costs to protect the planet and the children's future. The rich get richer and the rest of us will pay - Apple have a brilliant brand and yet all their products are made in Chinese factories with cheap labour and lousy environmental records WHY! Vote with your wallet.
