Pretty good.
By a customer from Newcastle, England , 22 Nov 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I found this movie alot of fun to watch, i was expecting it to be a bit scary, but it wasn't scary at all. It wasn't as i expected but it was still a very very good storyline and great movie. i'd watch it again.- Was this review helpful to you?

(537)Good acting from Hudson & Hurt
By a customer , 06 Dec 2012The acting from Kate Hudson and John Hurt is pretty good in this, and the story isn't too predictable, quite a few twists. Not terribly scary at all but still quite a good watch- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 25 Jun 2012a really enjoyable horror film, keeps you entertained the whole way through. i would definitely recommend this to anyone as its not that scary and is more of a thriller with a shocking twist at the end.
it makes a change to see a well acted and clever horror film for once and its one that has always stuck in mind since the first time i seen it.

Deep Southern Fried Horror at its best.
By TheBigBlue (21 reviews) from London , 27 Nov 2011Im not an enormous fan of Kate Hudson because i think if Goldie Hawn hadnt been her Mother she would have been bagging groceries in K Mart. However, having said that she is SUPERB in this Movie. She manages to play the strong heroine role and doesnt put a foot wrong.
The screenplay is SUPERB, the artistic direction is SUPERB and for fans of gothic horror it is a must see.
The ending will shock you to your core.- Was this review helpful to you?
