    Wow

    I was so impressed by this film, the acting by the leads was excellent, great locations. Only rented this film as a hard-core Jessica Alba fan but got a film that is a contender for best film I've seen this year. Great supporting roles from Bob Hoskins and Emily Mortimer

    gentle period love story

    Good story, excellent character for Alba who must be one of the most beutiful actresses around at the moment. She pulls this film off, yet even she can not disguise that this was a small project. Although no great actress the fact that the script could have been slightly tighter and the male lead lacked conviction shows.

    A nice intelligent, period love story that does what it promises. Bob Hoskins also gets a chance to shout for a bit, always enjoyable.
