Just to warn you all.. The Smurfs are secondary characters in this as it is a film version of the very first Belgian comic they appeared in.
Bit of a European comic book Geek.. sorry!
Also, all voices, animation etc are very different to the cartoon you all remember. Bit of a deceptive cover.
I did have this as a kid, however, and LOVED it. It hadn't aged well in 1985, and I doubt it looks any good these days. Anyway.. it's prob the best Smurf narrative! HAHA!
There are DVD box sets of the series out too if you really want the retro hit.

Not Smurfs

Old but still good
By scorpian99 (4 reviews) , 01 Mar 2013you have to take into account the age of this film there is nothing wrong with it at all I cant see any reason why kids will not enjoy this film I am old enough to say i seen this when it was shown at the pictures and i know i enjoyed it then Dont expect high tec graphics accept it as it is a good vs evil film were good wins- Was this review helpful to you?
