I remember watching the smurfs as a child and always loved it, wasn't sure what to expect in watching this live aimation film but well and truely loved it, well worth watching for adults and children.

My two children (aged 5 and 3) enjoyed this film very much with my 5 year old daughter screeching with laughter at the hilarious cat that belongs to the baddy. Personally, I thought the film had a reasonably good storyline and enjoyed the seamless live action and animation mix. Overall this is a good one for keeping the kiddies quiet.

I remember the original smurfs, so wasn't sure what to expect. Liked the modern take. However, more importantly my children loved it and seemed to be laughing quite alot.

Nothing like the original series-only rent if you're planning on watching it with you're children! In other words-just don't bother!

With so many reviewers here raving about this film I almost feel guilty about giving it a low score but I just can't see anything in it that is entertaining for adults. Even the 3D is almost non-existent and most of the time I actually forgot it was in 3D. This is OK for very young kids but that's the best I can say about it.
