    [Highly rated reviewer]

My kiddies (7&9) liked the story so much they didn't mind the 'low tech' animation and special effects. The characters are well acted and it was watched by them more than once the first day.

    But, it has short legs.

  • Great children's film

Very good for children due to its plot and length.

Beautifully done. Great finish on the footage that really makes the viewer feel they are in a magical world.

Some of the scenes are maybe rushed through quickly, especially if you have seen the Snow Queen by Wu, but as this one is more children based I can see why it has to be shorter.

The way the snow falls and the scene is really cannot be portrayed by words so you will have to watch it to know what I mean!

As a great fan of the original story of the snow queen i was quite exited to watch a newer version that had kept to the old story, but was severly disappointed with the graphics, they could have been alot better or didnt need them. it was so awful i would go as far as saying that iv seen better films that were made in 70s or 80s that were better than this, and it was only 56 mins long which i found bad so pretty disappointed with this :(

As a child this was my favourite story and I was so excited about showing my children but the quality of this version lost all the magic.

They changed the story, which is my favourite fairy tale..If weren't for the wonderful music and the charismatic girl I wouldn't have watched until the end...

  • Lovely Fairytale

This was a lovely fairytale story, but I think it is more for an older child, as the way the film has been put together would be a bit hard for a younger child to understand. It is a mixture of real life characters and animation.

    Lovely storyline and great characters.
