Not quite what the kids expected!

To all intents & purposes this is a ballet. The kids were a little perplexed at first as live theatre doesn't quite take off in your own front room, but they stuck with it & admited to enjoying it once they realised that the story was 'not being read'!Great music & some super choreography-so Mum enjoyed evry bit! (Not for the very young though)- Was this review helpful to you?

See your self christmas night with the open fire going and you and the kids snuggled under a blanket. The children are starting to get sleepy and you have a nice cup of tea. The snowman is fun, hart warming and magical. The acting is wonderful for children and the set is clever and charming. Also the famous flying scene is carried out perfectly.
Defenetly one i will rent at christmas

Disappointing compared with the animated version
By CharlieBubbles from Surrey , 06 Jun 2005I love the animated version of the snowman. I think it is a real classic. It is for this reason that I found this stage version disappointing. It lacked the "magic" of the original animated version. However, having said that, I did manage to watch the whole of the show and I enjoyed some of the dances in it, but I would not watch it again!- Was this review helpful to you?
