LOVEFiLM Review
-
By Tom Charity from LOVEFiLM
Easily one of the best films of the year. David Fincher directs and Jesse Eisenberg stars in this film about Mark Zuckerberg; the world's youngest billionaire and inventor of Facebook.

What a film. As a massive West Wing fan, I wanted to see this film mostly because of Aaron Sorkin. His super-sharp writing style is a joy, more so than ever in The Social Network.
A dark and intriguing tale of betrayal, the film is witty, funny and a mystery all in one go. All of the actors are outstanding - with this being Jessie Eisenberg's best performance to date. Andrew Garfield is going to be a great Spiderman.
A must-see.- Was this review helpful to you?

(898)Eisenberg is an almighty bell-cheese..
By Cheese_Embalmer (20 reviews) , 15 Jun 2013Wow..Eisenberg is somehow able to be even more annoying & arrogant in real-life than the real-life character he his playing in this film, quite an achievement in itself!?. While Fincher ensures this film is glossly coated thickly with the finest Parmesan throughout, it leaves the viewer inevitably despising Facebook/Eisenberg/Zuckerberg/Garfield and anyone else who features heavily.. oh of course and Justin Timberlake, if only for his appalling music...phew.. really thought provoking this one- Was this review helpful to you?

Die Facebook, Die!
By a customer , 05 Jun 2013If any film will make you want to never use or go near Facebook ever... this is the film to watch. One of the most annoying films to watch, just wanted to smack the little sod all the way through the film. Bunch of immature opportunists relying on the teenage ego / culture to thrive, and unfortunately lots of people followed.- Was this review helpful to you?

poo and nauseating
By cheesekake (1311 reviews) from uk , 19 May 2013I'm one of the rare breed of people who think facebook should be banned, but I thought I'd give this film a fighting chance, I wish I hadn't found the main characters voice annoying, the story just seemed to jump back and forward, and I also found it very boring.- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't like Facebook, but really enjoyed this film.
By loonylinney (66 reviews) , 14 May 2013Really interesting film. Another critic said they didn't like the characters - I didn't like some of them, especially Justin Timberlake's character, but they were all extremely well-acted and let's face it, this is a true story not some nice dramatisation. They were real. It was interesting to see how a prank evolved into the biggest social network in the world. This isn't a high octane, all-guns-blazing film, but it is very interesting and worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?

Loved it!
By a customer , 06 May 2013Great story, great actors, brilliantly made. Of course I expected nothing less considering Aaron Sorkin was behind the script. Highly recommended!- Was this review helpful to you?
