Most helpful review
From a reviewer who has actually SEEN the movie!
By a customer from Beddington , 13 Aug 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
I am baffled as to why people leave reviews before seeing a film! How is a review before seeing a film helpful to others?!!!There is nothing useful to say until you WATCH THE MOVIE,PEOPLE!!
Anyway, I am writing this review after seeing the film and all I can say is that it's perhaps better suited for kids. Cage looked like he was homeless and needed a wash and a haircut and Baruchel's voice was so amazingly annoying that I was tempted several times to walk out of the cinema. Although I usually enjoy these type of films, this movie left me cold and did nothing for me. I was just glad when it ended.- Was this review helpful to you?

(294)Worth a try
By hender (6 reviews) from Bridgend , 11 Jan 2013I did enjoy this, though I wouldn't put it among the 'greats'. Molina is always worth a watch, Good for an evening's viewing.- Was this review helpful to you?

A magic touch
By Historyman (34 reviews) from Ilford , 10 Nov 2012I expected the film to be set in the Middle Ages and was slightly put off when I realised that most of the action was going to take place inthe here and now - but in fact the end product was delightful.
Cage plays the role of a magician, with genuine occult powers, fighting it out with bad guys in the city streets and alleyways, an incantation here and a blast of power there.
It reminded me a little of some of the strange tales I used to read in comics as a kid.
This was an enjoyable romp which parents and kids could happily watch and enjoy together. Good happy fun and entertainment.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not for adults
By jshfleet (6 reviews) , 24 Oct 2012It's Disney so it's for kids. I stopped watching after half-an-hour. My fault for choosing it. I can't remember why I did.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great effects and a lot of fun
By a customer , 11 Oct 2012I did enjoy this, though I wouldn't put it among the 'greats'. Molina is always worth a watch, and of course there were great effects. Quite a few twists and turns in the plot too.- Was this review helpful to you?

Rather Predictable...
By a customer , 04 Oct 2012This film is watchable. It's not so awful that you want to tear your eyes out after watching it.
However, I felt it was quite predictable and was faintly bored at the end of it.- Was this review helpful to you?
