Saw this in Oz and was very disappointed that no one else had heard of it, let alone seen it when I got home. This is a well written, brilliantly acted and directed film. I don't know if its just me but I liked the basic settings and the almost docutmentary style feel to it. (It was a breath of fresh air to the over produced hollywood blockbusters) Admittedly it has a slow build but there is always another twist coming and it plays out well in the end! Well worth seeing, one of the best Australian movies I've seen n a while.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Not much Christmas spirit in Oz!
By Xenon (8 reviews) from Bognor Regis , 14 Nov 2011We had not heard of this film until we caught it on Film 4 last night. What an amazing film. It showed how easy it could be to go from adultery to robbery, then ..... We were kept guessing until the end as to the outcome. All the actors were very good and believable in their parts. The Sydney suburb settings were interesting having picnics in a park at Christmas!- Was this review helpful to you?
