Stan Laurel - PRE LAUREL AND HARDY
By Graham Barrow from Crewe, England , 24 Sep 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
This is a silent film from the time before Laurel and Hardy. To be honest I prefer the talking films from when they were together. Some of the comic genius still shines through from a very young Stan Laurel- Was this review helpful to you?

(5)Old Laurel film
By a customer from England , 31 Oct 2005This film didnt appeal to me at all. If you are a stan and laurel fan it wont appeal to you either as it is only one half of the duo. It is very boring.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sad
By Daisy Broadbelt from London, England , 22 Jul 2005Wasn't what we were expecting. It's a silent film very old. Not very funny...had us cringing.
Couldn't really follow what was going on either!
Dissapointing.- Was this review helpful to you?

More for the die hard fan!
By Tristram Adams from London , 01 Mar 2005I would not advise this to people trying to become aquanted with Laurel and Hardy (Although Ollie Hardy had not joined the team by this point), it has funny moments, some scenes drag, but a more user friendly format of this style of comic genieus comes from the later talkies.
A nice couple of films though, can easily be watched a handful of times, a shame about the absence of Special Features- Was this review helpful to you?
