Gorgeous visually, as you'd expect from Wenders, but I didn't like the main body of the film. To be blunt I found it boring, and I'm saying this as someone who loved 'Alice in the Cities', 'Wings of Desire ' and 'The American Friend'.
However the ending is breath- taking and almost worth battling through the first 90 minutes for.- Was this review helpful to you?

By DoubleHaitch (4 reviews) , 07 Apr 2013Some beautiful scenes and shots. Really worth sitting through. Not my favourite of Wenders' films but even for its expose of the difficulties facing directors and production teams, I'd recommend it. Free streaming here too, so nothing to lose.- Was this review helpful to you?
