    [Highly rated reviewer]

Plenty of twists and nudity in this giallo mystery where Mrs Wardh is up against number of dodgy men who include her current husband and her former lover while there is homicidal maniac operating in town murdering young women. Plot is easy to follow and there are clues, but it is not obvious to guess the ending as all is revealed in last minutes of the film.

I sometimes enjoy these things for their garish awfulness, but they have to be pretty weird to work. This isn't: a B picture crime plot which alternates scenes of badly simulated sex with scenes of badly executed violence, although there are some quite interesting things going on in the soundtrack at times. Mrs. Wardh is rather lovely in an early 1970s style, but I got to the end of the film and still have no real idea what her strange vice was, apart from the occasional bout of over-acting. A lukewarm example of the genre, I'm afraid.
