Sensationalism is the order of the day in this melodramatic TV-movie thriller from director Graeme Campbell. In the opening scenes we discover that Joanna Kerns is being abused by her husband, outwardly respectable doctor Stephen Lang. Then any semblance of reality disappears when Kerns is approached by the hitman (Tim Matheson) her husband has supposedly hired to kill her, who persuades her they should enter into a little conspiracy of their own. If you can suspend your disbelief, this may pass the time.
