Nostalgic clips of yesterday and not fully comprehensive of what is available in the archives. Overall presentation was poorly laid out and content could have been beefed up with documentary details to provide a story on how the Supremes evolved from their beginning to their end.
Given the history of this iconic group whose rise to their rightful place as the biggest girl-group in popular music, surely it wouldn't have been hard to interview the seven living (Flo died in 1976) ladies who all played their part in the phenominon. Diana, Mary, Cindy, Jean, Lynda, Scherrie and Susaye all have great stories of their time in the group and it's a sin that the producer of this didn't contact them and add their contributions to really beef up the product. Also, no footage of the 70's Supremes which is, frankly, ridiculous when you consider that they had 6 Million sellers without Ross. Just hope they are planning another set on that era because there's a lot of really great material (performances/interviews) out there that should be seen.
