A typical slice of Hong Kong madness starring Brigette Lin. Don't be put off by the fact that this is part 3 - like most Hong Kong films of its type, there are a lot of bizarre characters popping in and out of the story, which along with the jumping around of settings every 5 minutes makes it very difficult to understand. I suggest you simply sit back and enjoy the ride. Lots of wire-fu, decapitations, pseudo-sci-fi trappings (a bamboo submarine), unconsumated love and evil villians (you can spot them a mile off because they all have creepy female voices - even the men).

This second sequel to the far superior 'The Swordsman' is a poor effort that even manages to be missing the main hero from the first two films. Plenty of action cannot hide the fact that this is another case of style over substance. The wooden submarine is quite funny, but not enough to make this worth watching again.

Gave up after an hour. Will the real Invincible Dawn please stand up?

Too silly for words - a real disappointment
