(32)Good Puzzle Fun
By HudPitch (3 reviews) from Stockport , 24 Apr 2013Quite enjoyed this, truth be told. There were a few graphic & control niggles, but nothing too extreme that it ruined the experience. Fun puzzles, good story.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great game for puzzle fans!
By irisgreen (4 reviews) , 02 Apr 2013I ordered this after playing Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper which I enjoyed... you even end up back in Whitechapel in a part of this game and see a couple of familiar faces which was fun. As a previous reviewer mentioned this can seem like a long game with all of the cut scenes and talking elements however the puzzles get your brain working and that's why I play these titles. The only criticism I can give is sometimes when walking your character can get stuck against a door or another character and you have to back up and try again, it can be a bit frustrating but the overall experience of the game outweighs that. I got 1000g on a single playthrough which was an added bonus to my gamerscore!- Was this review helpful to you?

Easy Platinum
By MiniG (64 reviews) from Erskine , 01 Apr 2013Game is ok with a pretty simple platinum available. Some of the challenges are right good thinkers which I suppose is what this game is all about. The movement of characters at times can be very glitchy and jerky with the guy going into 'Free Roam' which basically means when you try to enter a door he just walks on the spot and you have to pause and then un-pause to get him moving. IF you want a 10hr platinum and only have to play a game once then I would give it a shot. End of the day you play and return so not really forking out £40- Was this review helpful to you?

There's No Place Like Holmes
By monkeystrummer (1 review) , 10 Mar 2013Well, i was expecting this to be rubbish... And in a lot of ways... It is! But do not let that put you off! The controls are clunky, the dialogue can be a bit irritating with the acting a bit guff and the graphics are well below what you would come to expect from this generation, however... The game is actually good fun! And that is what is important. The story is enjoyable, the puzzles, although not tremendously difficult, do require you to think a bit and the game never tries to be anything other than a good old fashioned pointy click adventure. I got this along with Resident Evil 6, and I enjoyed this far better. Nice change of pace from all the first and third person shooters. Also, I really would not bother with Resident Evil 6, it is awful!- Was this review helpful to you?

Could have been good.
By angel185 (2 reviews) from Rochester, England , 03 Mar 2013Only played for an hour before I couldn't do any more as a conversation between Sherlock and Watson wouldn't play out and the game couldn't progress. Not that I'm too disappointed - it's something to play to waste some time but the instructions to the puzzles are poor, leaving you to guess most of the time, the graphics would be more suited to the PS2 than the PS3 and the movement of the characters is slow, and that's when they're not getting stuck somewhere, It does have the potential to have been a good game, but it has been poorly made.- Was this review helpful to you?
