So much better than the originalBy David Gray from Clackmannanshire, Scotland , 24 Feb 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]The cannibalistic family are on the road with their own mobile cooking van - perfect for making chilli! Dennis Hopper is the Texas sheriff hunting them down and Caroline Williams is the unfortunate female caught in the middle of it all, as well as caught in the sights of Leatherface - although it doesn't look as if he wants to slice and dice her....
This film is great on so many levels. it doesn't allow itself to get too serious, but at the same time tries hard to develop the psychotic families personalities even more. You will see more to Leatherface in thios film than any other.
The highlight of the whole film is the ridiculously cool chainsaw duel, with Dennis Hopper battling Leatherface head to head at the family dinner table in a junkyard, parrying and jabbing like you would expect in a sword fight.
Don't expect to take this film seriously, and if you loved the way the first film left you leaving you in the dark about the family, then this film may not be the best for you...

dissapointingBy gaz115 (118 reviews) from Stoke-On-Trent , 27 Mar 2007I think they should of left this alone after the first texas massacre. Didnt think the acting was very good either. All round very poor film.
AvoidBy a customer from bromley kent , 28 Nov 2006Possibly the worst sequel ever made, which is really saying something. Some say it's parody, if so, it's horrendously bad parody! what was hooper thinking...
Good funBy Richard Wagner from London , 05 Nov 2006This one is very far fetched. The first one was more believable by far. The movie is a lot of fun, however. I love eccentric villains. I think this helped inspire Rob Zombie's 'House of 1000 Corpses'. I look forward to seeing the other Texas Chainsaw movies.
CAMPY AND UNDERRATEDBy a customer from Bury, Lancashire , 22 Oct 2006I love hidden gems like this. Dennis Hopper (in a role that I think is quite campy) is a relative of someone who was one of the victims in the originals. He's made it his life's work to find the killers. When more murders occur, he's hot on the trial. Cue a fantastic scene in a radio station (I just find the idea of a man scratching a metal plate in his head with a coat hanger creepy as hell) and lots of cartoony violence. Well recommended.
