Gripping, excellently structured investigative journalism.
The Thin Blue Line slowly builds the
compelling story of the murder of a Dallas cop. The soundtrack and repeated focus on the crime develop extraordinary power as it presents actual events.
Amazing documentary of a blatant miscarriage of justice where vested interests of local law enforcement overode any idea of proper crime investigation, iven that it happened 30 years ago when the people involved expected to get away with it and as one of the interviewees says there are probably 1000's of such cases happening every day. Interesteing if depressing at the low behaviour of petty people.
