Nonsensical drival at it's worst...By a customer , 02 Apr 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]Now I never leave reviews but I felt it my duty to warn against this film. I can only imagine that the lack of proper introduction is from the assumption that you have seen other versions of the Three Musketeers or have read the book. However all others versions are infinitely better than this humourless nonsensical load of rubbish. Matthew Macfadyen is wooden (though no surprises there), Orlando Bloom is a poor excuse for a villain and exhibits his lack of acting skills and James Corden's character is like something from a bad Panto! And don't even get me started on the flying ships..... Avoid at all costs!

Witty, Fun and Brilliant EffectsBy Redchocomallow (10 reviews) from Swindon , 08 Mar 2012Suprisingly very good film. Witty, Good effects, brilliant if your playing on surround sound speakers with all the fighting scenes. Possibly may buy it when at a good price.

Did not finish it...disappointingBy a customer , 07 Mar 2012Unfortunately, this is a prime example of American movie making gone wrong. All about the glitz without much character or historical or cultural context. I watched 1/2 an hour and then switched off. Very disappointing.
Don't want to say anymore about it or i'll vomit it's that bad!By H1 (76 reviews) from London , 06 Mar 2012Another movie I was looking forward too but alas poor yorick what an awful, awful version. Where do I begin? Well the script was dreadful, the acting poor, direction was which way do i go? I really don't want to say anymore about it or i'll vomit it's that bad. If you really want to see a good musketeer movie, go rent the three and four musketeers which has Oliver Reed, Michael York, Charlton Heston, Christopher Lee and many other great actors in a super movie. If you don't believe me, then rent this awful version then rent the other two i mentioned and you will see the HUGE difference. I thought the musketeers were also about sword fighting and not flying war ships! Shame on the financiers for allowing rubbish like this to be made. Avoid like the plague!
Starts well...By paul39745 (11 reviews) from Guildford , 06 Mar 2012Great start following the usual film adaptation with lots of fun and swordplay. Then just gets daft.
Milla Jovovich is sumptuously seductive throughout.
One for all all for one blah blahBy a customer , 05 Mar 2012I have to admit I fell asleep half way through the film. I did enjoy the film but than again I choose not to think at all during the film. So I can not tell you much about the story line ... Orlando looked good though (2 star for him) or was I dreaming.
