Good cops n robbers funBy sarz79 (1 review) from UK , 24 Sep 2010
[Highly rated reviewer]Saw this in Boston of all places! Good film to go 'n relax at the cinema which draws you into the suspense. Affleck was great and the cinematography showed off Boston city well. Script isn't the most original but it's a great cops n robbers type. Well worth watching I say!

Great movie.By JamieKirk (4 reviews) , 25 Feb 2013Really enjoyable. A good old cops and robbers film but with a lot of depth. Ben Affleck is a talented guy. Looking forward to seeing Argo next. Was great seeing Pete Postlethwaite in one of his last films (if not actually his last - not sure).
Excellent filmBy a customer , 24 Feb 2013This is a well made film with good acting and story line and in my opinion is well worth watching.
Worth a WatchBy a customer , 24 Feb 2013Definitely worth a watch, I have enjoyed all three films that Ben Affleck has directed now. The cast were great with an entertaining plot.
Welcome To The Bank Robbery Capital Of America.By a customer , 24 Feb 2013Not sure how I 'The Town' came to be in my rental list, as it's not the kind of film I usually watch. I did however, enjoy this film and was quite surprised to find a love story attached to it. This film though, is ruined by actors who mumble every word..... Large parts of this film badly needed subtitles..... This is my reason for only awarding it three and a half stars.
Needed subtitles - but still worth watchingBy electricsheep (23 reviews) from suffolk , 22 Feb 2013Wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this at first, as others have also mentioned, the dialogue was terrible to start with and you really couldn't decipher what they were saying, but it got better or maybe I just got used to the way they talked! I guess it was to make it more gritty and street life. Good storyline, and overall well acted, it's worth sticking with it as it improves towards the middle half and stays on this level for the rest of the film - an interesting concept too, the thief who falls in love with his hostage - certainly worth renting.
