An awsome series and I am so glad I took the time to watch it.
This is really well produced and filmed. It is also well narrated and it makes learning fun.
Fantastic and really well made apparently took 4 years to make and it shows this is so well done it covers every aspect of the trials of of life.
This is well worth another viewing if you saw when it was broadcast many years ago, and if you didn't see it then you are in for a treat. It was shot in the days before the really fancy, and sometimes distracting, camerawork. As a result it is the animals who are the stars. Unforgettable images of killer whales and seals, DA among the gorillas; and the true stories that go with them: like the 'teenage' albatrosses that go out dancing together for a few years before they settle down. Priceless!

This was a great rental disc, 6 superb 30 minute episodes including visually stunning photography and impressive camera work, combined with David Attenborough's soothing narration make an excellent introduction to this 4 disc set.
