Troll Hunter is a delightfully silly but entertaining film. Its a Norwegian subtitled movie, but if you can get over the idea of subtitles it is a massively rewarding bundle of joy. The trolls themselves are quite impressive for a low budget movie and the action, in Blairwitch style is better than most of that type.
About a group of film students who follow a Troll hunter in a bid to capture real life trolls on film as they wreck havoc in the countryside.
Impressive see this version before the Americans make their version, which is on the cards. Totally original and watchable.- Was this review helpful to you?

A bit Where-The-Wild-Things-Are-ish
By BigGerbil (5 reviews) from Hampshire, UK , 28 Apr 2013Very silly but lots of fun. Was distracted by the similarity between the lead actor and Dec from Ant&Dec. One of the better 'found footage' movies.- Was this review helpful to you?

better than other fake reality just go with it
By CarnageAce (58 reviews) , 17 Apr 2013This was a good version of the fictional Documentary style of film making. It was done well and if you can let yourself enjoy it, and not take it too seriously you may like it. The trolls are based on the traditional from myths and legend.- Was this review helpful to you?

Blair Witch meets Hans Christian Andersen
By ZedsDead (26 reviews) from LONDON , 13 Apr 2013Ok, so he's Danish not Norgie.... Another subtitled film, kept me entertained and would say to anyone thinking of renting it 'Do it'. Just bear with it at the front end, it takes a while getting used to the subtitles but then you get into it because the characters are believable and you forget about the srit lines. Someone said in one review 'the plots a bit far fetched' to be honest with a title like 'Troll Hunter' i'm gonna put money on it being everso slightly far-fetched from the offset.... Personally I think they dealt with how Trolls appear and disappear really well....watch the film and find out why!- Was this review helpful to you?
