The Exorcism of a Dybbuk!By a customer from SW London , 28 Feb 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]This is a somewhat interesting film to watch, especially since some parts reminded me of scenes in 'The Exorcist' (twisting heads etc..).
It's essentially the story of an exorcism of a dybbuk (a malevolent spirit that refuses to leave the human world and inhabits the body of a person) who wants to be born now. These little buggers are not so easy to send back from where they came from!Obviously until the end of the film everyone is kept guessing as to why this dybbuk is hounding Casey Beldon.
The story is extremely predictable and at times not very convincing.Every so often I'd be distracted by the main actress' incredibly bad skin that is very unusual to see in a Hollywood film.Perhaps the fact that I was distracted like that meant that the film was at times a bit of a let down.Nevertheless it's entertaining to watch once only. Not the sort of film I would buy on DVD and watch several times at home.

Wouldnt recommed itBy a customer , 08 Jun 2011I had heard alot about this film from friends and family who were eager to watch it but hadnt yet managed to.
So I hired it, grabbed myself some munchies and a bottle of wine and........................................ was shocked to be watching what I would call a rubbish film.
I knew the end before it was even quarter way through the film as it was that obvious.
I cant even say the actors impressed me.
I feel there could have been alot more done with this film if the story writer just took more time and imagination.
I am no horror story writer in the slightest but felt this could have been so much better.
I needed another bottle of wine afterwards.
good supernatural horrorBy a customer , 29 May 2011This is a decent supernatural horror film. It goes at a fast pace and there plenty of freaky bits to keep you interested. It's not exactly the most original film as there are similarities to other horrors about. Not the best supernatural horror I've seen but it's good and definitely worth a watch.
Proper scaryBy a customer from OXON , 19 May 2011This is the first 'horror' film that I've seen in a while that's been proper scary. Right from the opening credits... No blood and gore, this is physcological horror. Recommended
STAY AWAYBy vanilla_quiff (284 reviews) from Gatwick, England , 08 May 2011As the French would say 'JE DETESTE' - Good God, that was frigging AWFUL it really was.
I was expecting it to at least be 'alright' - I was bored senseless
The unborn should be unmade!By PSC (32 reviews) , 21 Apr 2011I was looking forward to watching the unborn and I was bitterly disappointed as I expected it to be a great horror film that would keep you on the edge of your seat, unfortunately I was wrong. There was hardly a scary moment in the film at all apart from maybe a very small scene at the beginning. Instead of being scared of the demons or the dybbuk as its called in the film you can't help but laugh at how ridiculous these demonic creatures look.
