Another gem from Giuseppe Tornatore
By Brymac (5 reviews) from North Chailey , 30 Jan 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
It doesn't get much better than this - from the director who brought us Cinema Paradio, Legend of 1900 and Malena comes this beautifully filmed, thoughtful and ultimately moving film. Streets ahead of much of the stuff currently finding its way into mainstream cinema - you won't be disappointed!- Was this review helpful to you?

(5)The unknown women - great stuff
By a customer , 22 Jul 2011At first glance, this looked like another sleazy movie but it didn't quite turn out that way. Yes, there's violence and brutality; however, the main story line has twists and turns. The ending brings a tear to my eye and I really felt sorry for the main character for what she had to go through.- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent Film
By Adam Bamforth from Tipton , 31 Mar 2011I wasn't expecting a great deal from this to be honest, but was very suprised.
I really love this film and from watching it once, it is in my top 5 favourite films I've ever seen.
You'll actually care for the lead character, a film that will stay in your head!- Was this review helpful to you?

Another disturbing italian masterpic
By bradlen (6 reviews) from London , 21 Mar 2010A very moving story, bit horror-ful but worth it for the last 2 minutes. Not to be watched with kids around and there are scenes that censors must have felt to be borderline.
Some fascinating twists.Even reflecting on the film there are storylines that add up. For example we are not told how someone was traced to the location, it is not even relevant, but the answer is there. A great film to discuss in a group afterwards!- Was this review helpful to you?
