Really Enjoyable

I am a vampire fan in general and really enjoy this series. Although I do think there are 'rules' about vampires that are not follwed here, I still enjoy watching it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the sci-fi/fantasy genre but nothing too dark or sinister, watch it if you like Ghost Whisperer or Blood Ties or Charmed. By a customer , 23 Feb 2013Am i the only person who thought this was banal, over acted rubbish? I read the books in my early teens, so thought i would enjoy this trip through time, but alas no. It's also amazing how and entire town can be so good looking! I know it's not supposed to be realistic, but the point of fanatasy (i thought) was the possibility that it COULD be real. The constant music and it's efforts to inject some depth of emotion into the cardboard acting left me with a headache. And i quite like some of the bands featured.- Was this review helpful to you?

Loved it

The story lines are interesting, the acting is very good and the whole series is captivating. Well worth watching. (And it's not too gory for any out there with a weak stomach). Love might suck, but Vampire Diaries definately doesn't!
