Intelligent and well-thought out
We thought this was an informed, well-crafted and intelligent supernatural movie. Liked the way there were no loose ends and it gave more in-depth insight into the characters' behaviour, even the lesser ones explaining how the situation arose in the small religious community. My wife who normally isn't a fan of horror or supernatural movies thought it was amazing too. Excellent.

Worth a watch
This film was much better than I expected....not like the 'cheesy' christian films I have seen in the past. Not overtly christian, but based on a great book, and the bits that were portrayed were accurate...but on re-reading the book, they missed out quite a bit of important stuff.
I would watch this again, and its worth a look if you are into the whole supernatural/good v evil thing. -
