If you enjoy true stories of grit and determination then this is the film for you. The film follows a group of prisoners as they escape prison and travel across harsh landscapes. I really enjoyed this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

By SuperSaint (317 reviews) from Market Harborough , 06 Jun 2013There is no doubt that I was expecting more. Tells a story but it was like walking through treacle at times. Great story though and endeavour in abundance.- Was this review helpful to you?

A film long overdue
By Eskdaleman (14 reviews) , 26 Mar 2013Who knows if the original story is true? It would be impossible to make a film of the complete book with all its little incidents but this film does well. Read the book first.- Was this review helpful to you?
