      Instant nostalgia for Americans, some fun and a lot of boredom for everybody is provided by this very patchy star vehicle which makes a particular mess of the McCarthy witch hunt sequence but has undeniable moments of vitality.

      A classic, Streisand & Redford are great as usual, sad at the end. You may want to watch it more than once.
