Most helpful review The West Wing - Complete Season 7

  • Excellent as always

Gripping television. I had been a little disappointed with Season 6 as it moved away from the focus of the President and people had drifted away in different directions. There's still less screen time for Martin Sheen, but the whole election process is so interesting that you don't really notice it. The storylines are as well written as ever, the acting superb. The scenes with Leo are especially poignant since John Spencer's death. Part of me is sad that this is the last season of West Wing, but I'm glad they are wrapping it up so effectively. If only real American politics were like this.

I have loved The West Wing from the start. I must admit that I had a tear in my eye when it finished. A grown up series that managed to bring you into a world very few people get to see. I feel I know these character and you get to love them with all their faults. You learn that with all their power and responsibilities they are human like the rest of us. I will miss it and I will miss them.

to watch mesmerised, and simultaneously never want it to end. to try and keep reminding yourself its a TV show, and yet for everyone you have shared it with to say 'its like they are your friends'. unique. what an education.

Never thought that I would get through it but i have. Series 6 was , as others said, a bit dissaponting but 7 came rght back at you.

Very sad to see this go great cast and writing and I will probably do the whole lot all over again soemtime in the future as this was a classic.

Just one thing at start of series 7 they were all athered to see the then president and that was the cliff hanger, what happened at that meeting? If Donna is out there - get in touch !!!
