Most helpful review
Excellent as always
By Carrie Stewart from London, England , 09 May 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
Gripping television. I had been a little disappointed with Season 6 as it moved away from the focus of the President and people had drifted away in different directions. There's still less screen time for Martin Sheen, but the whole election process is so interesting that you don't really notice it. The storylines are as well written as ever, the acting superb. The scenes with Leo are especially poignant since John Spencer's death. Part of me is sad that this is the last season of West Wing, but I'm glad they are wrapping it up so effectively. If only real American politics were like this.- Was this review helpful to you?

By soapbox (1 review) from Luton , 12 Aug 2012I have loved The West Wing from the start. I must admit that I had a tear in my eye when it finished. A grown up series that managed to bring you into a world very few people get to see. I feel I know these character and you get to love them with all their faults. You learn that with all their power and responsibilities they are human like the rest of us. I will miss it and I will miss them.- Was this review helpful to you?
