(48)Terrible -no worse than terrible
By a customer , 10 Apr 2013This was so bad that I could not bear to watch it. Perhaps the most unconvincing acting I've ever seen. To say it was wooden insults wood!- Was this review helpful to you?

WOW! You thought it would be awful...? It's Worse!
By KingFan (15 reviews) , 28 Feb 2013I always keep an open mind and generally don't trust reviews on here. However, this really is as bad as the reviews say. It shouldn't be allowed to be associated with the fantastic Wickerman. The script is awful, the acting is awful, the overall film quality is awful and no-one seems to stick to the same accent for more than 2 minutes. Oh and did I mention it's awful? Actually, you probably should watch this just to see how bad it is. It makes the Nicholas Cage version look like the Godfather...- Was this review helpful to you?

It takes quite a bit to make you pine for the Nicholas Cage version
By TheWatchman (491 reviews) from Suburbia , 09 Feb 2013In short: why bother? Yes, the original Wicker Man was a classic. Yes, the remake was completely pointless (and thats being kind). So here we have a (semi) sequel to the original Wicker Man. And, if you look closely at the promotional material, youll notice that it even has good ol Christopher Lee in it. So, it must be good right? Wrong. The first thing you should know is that Christopher Lees input is literally less than a minute long. The film is almost a remake (in as much as theres nothing new in the story, so its basically a retread of the old version). Two American Christians come to a small village on the Scotland/England border to help spread the word of God. If youve seen either of the Wicker Man films youll know what happens. If you havent, youll probably guess. The acting is poor all round, some of it bordering on comedy. The horror is lacking. No gore here and the traumatic scenes from the original are not even nearly repeated here. Simply dont bother with this. It adds nothing to the original except to cash in on its reputation. Even if you havent seen the original, dont expect an interesting horror film here. Just dont bother. Did I mention its not that good?- Was this review helpful to you?

A dish does not a sequel make
By wicktree (3 reviews) , 09 Feb 2013This is a terrible sequel that, by hinting back to the original, only serves to remind you that it is terrible. It got one star because there was a hot man in it.- Was this review helpful to you?
