All I can say is that my seven year old son watched it with great delight and then watched it all over again! In these days of cgi and sfx gracing even the most mundane of movies, a natural telling of the tale relying on characters, stories and performances shows what still matters. Great fun and it gets the spirit of TWITW over just as I remembered it from when I was seven!- Was this review helpful to you?

Modern Version
By ByPeter from Surrey , 27 Aug 2005Excellent film by the Python crowd. But it took quite a long time before it dawned on me that this is not the Wind in the Willows I was expecting. Nevertheless we all greatly enjoyed it, expertly done rendition of the classic tale.- Was this review helpful to you?
