Even if you enjoy Jackie Collin's high octane adult novels, the film adpatations have been generally poor. This is probably the worst, despite having some well-known actors such as Carroll Baker and Georgina Hale in lead roles. The problems largely sit with the script which is wooden, with clunky dialogue and a nauseating sense of voyeristism that really makes you question Collins vision when adapting it. If anything, it is a rather desperate morality tale that falls short. The humour that is such a part of her novels is unfortunately absent and may have saved it. Maybe it could have been more like Shampoo with Warren Beatty and Julie Christie? Sherrie Lee Cronn, in her first major film role is absolutely terrible and I cannot overstate that. On the up side, the soundtrack is brilliant if you like disco with a great theme tune and artists such as Shalamar, Nona Hendryx, Heatwave and a rather camp Sarah Brightman.
