This is a little gem of a film, a gentle love story set against cultural taboos and the vicious apartheid of post-war South Africa. Lisa Ray & Sheetal Sheth light the screen up, as they were to again in 'I can't think straight', but this is a more subtle, multi-layered movie and a bit of a history lesson, maybe a little slow-paced for some but I really enjoyed it.
