This has been the season i have been waiting to see, I have watched X Files since the beginning and when I heard Mulder wasnt going to be in most of the episodes i thought 'sod it then'. My partner made me watch them and so far this season hasnt been too bad although Agent Doggett is abit wooden at times you tend to feel like hes getting a hard time. Scully is preoccupied throughout most of the episodes with her pregnancy/baby, her character seems abit weak in places. I was just getting used to the Scully/Doggett combo when surprise Mulder returns from the dead, it just didnt feel like those earlier seasons of X Files. I was abit bored when it came to Mulder being brought back etc. Good season just dont expect too much, best to take it for what it is.

  • Its getting boring

I am determined to watch all 9 series to see if I was missing something when I stopped watching these on TV round about series 3.

Sad to say, this far in only hardened X-files lovers are going to stick with such boring episodes.

Since the disappearance of Agent Mulder and the recruitment of Agent Doggitt this series has gradually gone downhill.

Gone are the whimiscal episodes that peppered the overwhelmingly complicated story arc of Alien invasion.

Now the one-off stories are as boring as the ones where to much double-crossing has happened for you to be able to remember who you should trust and who is a baddy.

If this is anything to go by getting to the end of series 9 is going to take gritted teeth and some serious caffeine.
