Sydney Pollack directed this action drama in which a Yakuza boss has kidnapped the daughter of a shipping executive named George Tanner, believing that he has cheated him in a gun deal. I like Robert Mitchum. He usually puts in a good performance but this film was rubbish.
Sydney Pollack 1934-2008 Sydney Pollack, the American actor and filmmaker, passed away after a battle with cancer, Monday. He was 73.
