Sarandon lands lifetime achievement award

Oscar winner Susan Sarandon was the toast of the Stockholm International Film Festival in Sweden on Saturday (21Nov09) when she was honoured for her longrunning movie career. The Hollywood actress, 63, was presented with the lifetime achievement prize, a bronze horse statuette weighing a hefty 15 pounds (7.3 kilograms), by Swedish actor Gustaf Hammarsten. The pair will appear alongside Ed Norton in Leaves of Grass, it was announced at the Toronto Film Festival.
