There was quite a bit of hype about this little chiller and i was not let down. Fair enough it didn't have that 'je ne sais quoi' but it was very involving and a very good watch.
Equal parts Haute Tension[4.5stars], Creep[1.5stars], Wolf Creek[3.5] and Straw Dogs[3.5] it was a gritty, grimy and tense film that wanted to play on the realism side but couldnt quite beat the urge to go Hollywood here and there. eg. was the beginning set piece really necessary? Who cares it was great!
Lacks a little of the bite some the above films have but makes up for it in tension and great locations, by the end you'll be left a little stunned.
I really didnt know if this film would be good due to the mixed reviews but thought i would try it as im a big horror fan. I found that the whole thing was pretty good. The start was very creepy and erie and i know me and my friend were on the edge of our seats. I think it was very predictable though but i would recomend renting this as it has some very good jumpy scenes in it as well as the whole movie being very tense.
