If you remember, as I do, one's idea of Australia in the sixties, then you will really appreciate this film. It shows Australia as exactly what one thinks it is all about. The swearing alone takes up 30% of sound track. Walter Chiarri is great as the lead and everyone else who appears is well known and genuine Australian. I know this will be a matter of taste but do watch - it would be a shame not to be given the chance to enjoy what I considered to be the best comedy to ever come out of Aussie.

Thanks from me for the opportunity to rent

    Terry.

I love this movie. As a second generation Italian/ Australian it shows how life was like for my dad when he arrived in Australia. It also shows Sydney as I remember it from my childhood.

Now that I'm living in the UK it is the movie I reach for when I'm feeling homesick. I recommend it to any Brit trying to understand Australians.

    ciao.
