(11)Surprisingly good
By MTLibraryGirl (5 reviews) from Blackheath , 11 Jan 2011An early 80s film about a burglar who decides to seduce a woman after he reads the contents of her private diary. The main characters are played well by the actors you really begin the sympathise with the burglar and wish it could have a happy ending but this is Hollywood folks and there must be a moral ending.
The film features a very young David Caruso, check out those leathers!- Was this review helpful to you?

theif of hearts
By jules33 (19 reviews) from Bournemouth , 13 Sep 2010typical 80's film. just about watchable. music through out sounds like some dodgy porn film. acting is ok, what you would expect from an 80's film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Hit Eighties movie
By MrJeremy (7 reviews) from London , 08 Mar 2009I love this little movie from the Eighties; maybe because it's such an Eighties movie but thankfully without a bratpacker in sight. It's a thriller with a sexual fantasy twist, where a house burglar also steals a woman's diary as well as the jewellery and both parties fantasise about the situation. Could be a lot cleverer if the storyline was taken a few stages further, but nice location filming in '80's San Francisco and a v Eighties music score by Harold Faltermeyer and song by Giorgio Moroder.- Was this review helpful to you?

a blast from the past
By JockPond (4 reviews) from Edinburgh , 15 Sep 2006I really enjoyed this film which features an early role for David Caruso and Norm from CHEERS.
Okay so some of the acting is suspect but the film concept is good and it's a warning to all you people out there that if you take your partner for granted someone could steal them away. All in all a very enjoyable 90 mins of escapism. The obvious bonus being Barbara Williams.(Mickey)How gorgeous is she?- Was this review helpful to you?
