An Entertaining Mystery

I really enjoyed this - the mystery element is well done and there is a touch of 'Diagnosis Murder' style humour too, but it's never forced and doesn't get in the way of the main plot. The film's depiction of a gay relationship between the rough diamond private eye and his rather more straightlaced partner is both funny and touching. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

it's a pretty good film

I enjoyed this film and it had plenty of twists and turns. Interesting to see a full range of gay characters, some acting against sterotype. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the quirky overture to 30s type detective movies but that's not a major negative.
