Complete sixth series of the US television comedy about a group of alien explorers who assume human shape in order to learn more about earth's civilisation. Landing in the town of Rutherford, Ohio, the group soon displays a charming innocence in their reaction to human society. In this series, the Solomons find themselves in an alternate version of New York, Dick (John Lithgow) is conned into buying an expensive timeshare property, and Dick's nemesis, the evil alien Liam (John Cleese) arrives to seduce Mary (Jane Curtin). Sparkle starting to fade

Probably worth a watch for Third Rock fans, but the script writers seem to be running out of good ideas. Some episodes were hard to sit thru (e.g. the Parallel Universe double episode - don't bother). However, there is still the odd quirky little gem which makes it worthwhile. I hope they didn't try for a Season 7 - STOP NOW!!!

i loved the first few series', but I think they were running out of ideas by series six.
